Thursday - some people get into town on Thursday night, if you do come to our friend John’s house party, on River Street directly behind the Inn. Kegs, drinking games and all that good stuff.
Friday - I'll take anyone on a hike to one of the more obscure waterfalls/swimming holes in the day time.
Friday night will be spent in the basement party room of Grampa Grunts. Grampa Grunts is a legendary ski hostel – it’s one of the last remaining pay-by-the-bed ski hostels on the east coast and a rite of passage for generations of ski bums from across the East Coast. It’s dingy, dank, rough-around-the-edge but it’s also totally awesome. You’ll never ever see another place like it. Guaranteed.
Everyone will be there and the party will end up going all night – drinking games, pool, darts, etc. We’ll light a fire out back and be boozing back there too. Come and meet the gang. Don’t be shy, the French Canadians certainly won't be.
Saturday - Daytime (12pm-5pm)– Third Hole. Boozy river hike and drinking. This is the day we go on a relatively easy 20-25 minute hike to a swimming hole that’s a little more remote in the woods. Bring water, bring sneakers or reasonable shoes (no need for hiking boots or anything, it’s more of a ‘walk’ than a ‘hike’ but you should avoid flip-flops or barefeet.)
Saturday night - THE PARTY - DOWN BY THE RIVER - **WILD WILD WEST**
Not a lot can be said about this on Al Gore's internet.
The party is held on the river, in the woods, with a sandy dance floor and we try to light everything on fire.
Sunday - "Big Rock" - the swimming hole in town, where the party was the night before. It's the 'no-hike' swimming hole, perfect for lazy/hazy hungover days.
Sunday evening - something crazy will happen in the church with apologies to Jesus, his daddy and the spook. Nothing can be said about this on the internet.
Sunday night - Snowshoe bar takeover. There's one bar in town. It becomes a huge gay dance party. It's really pretty goddamned strange when you think about it, so I try not to.
Monday - Be hungover and get out!
